Malbork Castle private tour from Gdansk

Built in the 13th century, the Castle of the German Teutonic Order in Malbork is the largest castle in the world measured by land area and the largest brick building in Europe. This amazing fortified monastery was restored after severe damage following WW2, using the detailed documentation prepared by earlier conservators. It was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. During our guided tour you will learn about the phenomenon of the Teutonic Order state in Prussia, which was organized by militarized monks who carried out crusades against the pagans of the Baltic coast, as well as against the Christian Kingdom of Poland. Apart from the guided sightseeing of three parts of the castle: low castle, medium castle and high castle, our tour also includes a stop for a local BBQ lunch with craft beer.
