A large metropolitan area called Tricity in northern Poland on the Baltic Sea coast consists of three cities: Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot. Gdansk is the biggest one with more than a thousand years of complicated history. Sopot is a major health-spa and tourist resort destination, and Gdynia, a main Baltic seaport, is one of Poland's youngest and most dynamic cities. On this tour our knowledgeable local guide will show you Gdansk's 'must sees' including the famous St Mary's Basilica and the Artus Court mansion in the Main Town, as well as the Gdansk Shipyard and its story of Solidarity. After visiting Gdansk, you will head to the legendary sea resort of Sopot with the longest wooden pier in Europe. To make this day even more exciting we will organize a stop for a short organ recital in the Oliwa Cathedral and end with panoramic views from the Nowy Port Lighthouse. Excellent guide service guaranteed by "Poland by Locals" tourist guides' organization.
